"apapachar comes from a indigenous nahúatl word meaning “acariciar con el alma” (to cuddle or touch with the soul). I actually learned what it meant very recently because my entire life every time I was sad I would come home and my abuelita would say “ven deja te apapacho” and there are feelings that have no translation."
